Yazan Asfour

Yazan was born in Jordan and was raised Muslim.

Yazan showed up at the sting house a few minutes after Safraz Khan , who was already in mid-confrontation with Chris Hansen , who has him take a seat next to Khan. He feigned knowledge of her age then changes his mind and says he didn't want to have sex, but Hansen erroneously insisted he did as he shows him stills of his video. Khan tells Asfour that he believes they'll both be arrested, which flabbergasts Yazan. After finding out they are a part of a Dateline investigation, Khan is the first to leave. Yazan composes himself as best he can as he walks out of the door and lays down beside Khan, who was already being arrested.

During his interrogation, Yazan is a quaking nervous wreck. The investigators acknowledge he didn't come over for sex, but he still came over to have some lewd and lascivious acts with the decoy and tried to get him to own that. He also attempted to convince the investigators that he was a virgin, repeatedly saying "I swear I am virgin!". His stubborn refusal to admit he was going to be a sub for the girl despite all evidence pointing to the fact infuriates both investigators to the point they both started shouting at him and finally had enough of his evasion. He is booked into jail, where he makes bail.

During the time between his release and his trial date, Yazan absconded and, to this day, has a warrant out for his arrest. He fled back to his native Jordan.
