Case narrative
Biography
He was already a convicted sex offender, stemming from charges of 2nd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Person Under 13 from 2002. He spent seven years in prison for those charges. Allen continued to maintain his innocence of those charges.
However, he also stated that he believed the incident to be an accident.
According to public voter records, Allen voted in the 2024 election.
Sting
When Allen arrived at the sting house, he told the decoy that he "thought it was a joke," but did not explain what he thought what a joke. After Chris Hansen came out, Allen attempted to leave but was apprehended by deputies. Allen claimed that he did not have any plan for being there and did not have any intent to have sex with anybody. Allen later claimed that his only intention was to come over to tell the girl the story of when he went to prison and dissuade her from meeting adult men.
