Hansen investigationOcean County, New Jersey · Sentenced
The actual Pennsylvania Superior Court opinion 906 WDA 2012, April 22, 2013, confirms the two New Jersey convictions and connects them to the televised sting. The New Jersey five-year prison term remains community-reported. Prior Pennsylvania sentences and the separate 2012 revocation term are not part of the New Jersey sentence. Initial police terminology differs from the final offense labels; statutes and count quantities are not inferred.

Nine to 23 months incarceration and ten years probation in the separate Pennsylvania proceeding.12
Separate 2003 conduct. Court docket and opinion correct the community narrative: all five amended charges received guilty pleas, not only statutory sexual assault. Original IDSI allegation was amended to sexual assault; do not count it as another final conviction.

Case narrative
Biography
Todd Lewis had previously been arrested for sexually assaulting an underage girl he met on the internet. On July 2, 2003, 32-year-old Lewis met a 14-year-old girl at a park in Scott, PA after previously meeting her in an internet chatroom. Lewis and the girl went swimming before going into the woods where they "kissed and engaged in a sexual act." Eventually, a policeman on bike patrol noticed Lewis exit the woods with the girl and her similarly-aged friends; the policeman became suspicious, confronted them, brought them all to the police station, and arrested Lewis after investigating. Lewis was charged with statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and corruption of a minor; he eventually pled guilty to committing just statutory sexual assault and was sentenced to between 9 and 23 months in prison. He was paroled in May of 2005.
Aftermath
After being released from prison, Todd purchased a new motorcycle and now works cleaning parking lots.
Trivia
At the time of his arrest, Todd bore a striking resemblance to famous Irish actor Liam Neeson. Lewis (intentionally or unintentionally) is one of the only predators to directly call Chris out on his hammy entertainment journalism, claiming that there's "no reason for these little hysterics" unless there are cameras present.
