Reviewed sting-related legal outcome. Saved original arrest report visually reviewed; other saved PDFs concern unrelated civil debt, not criminal sentencing. Do not treat lifetime supervision as imprisonment. Private family and financial details excluded. Original arrest report names two offense groups but has a total-crimes field of three; no third offense or individual count quantities are invented. Prosecutor reference 070300302 is not used as a court docket. Age field appears inconsistent with birth year and is not imported.

Case narrative

Sting and Aftermath

When the decoy agreed to meet him, Knights arrived in the morning, got lost in the neighborhood, ran into some police, and returned to his house. He later made the decision to randomly turn up unannounced the following evening. The decoy, played by Casey Mauro , tried to get him into the sting house. When Knights noticed a second car approaching, he became anxious. He informed Casey that he will move his truck despite her insisting he enter the house. Instead, he was apprehended by the Ocean County Police Department when they follow him down the street. For his crimes, Knights was sentenced to lifetime parole and lifetime registration as a sex offender. His marriage managed to survive the ordeal.
