Reviewed sting-related legal outcome. Original order needed to clarify split-sentence structure; no invented total or concurrency. Linked FindLaw appellate page returned403, so no court-record upgrade. WTVM contemporaneously reports seven years behind bars and fifteen years probation. The archive describes a longer split term; without the sentencing order this discrepancy is retained, not converted into a new aggregate. The full matching CaseMine reproduction of A11A1564 was read in this pass. It independently corroborates convictions and encounter, not the sentencing structure. WTVM still reports7years custody plus15years probation; the original sentencing order remains needed.

Case narrative

Sting and arrest

Reymundo drove several hours the same day to meet with the decoy at a sting house. When he arrived, the decoy welcomed him and invited him into the house for sweet tea. When Reymundo entered the house, Chris Hansen walked from an inner room. He asked Reymundo to take a seat.

Reymundo admitted that he had brought a condom with him and that he had seen NBC. He thought he was going to be "processed." Chris reveals that he is with Dateline NBC and tells Reymundo that he can leave the house. Camera operators surrounded Reymundo, which made him leave. He is then arrested by Lieutenant Sven Armbrust, an officer with the Harris County Sheriff's Office, and taken into custody.

2024 update

Hansen tried reaching out to Reymundo but was unsuccessful since the number he did find was out of service.
