Case narrative

2024 update

When Morticia received access to the Perverted Justice archive from Perverted Justice co-founder Xavier Von Erck , Phyllis' previously unreleased phone call with "Erin" was included in the file for Smith. Joey subsequently uploaded the phone call to his YouTube channel. The call was fairly short and consisted of Phyllis introducing herself to the decoy, although nothing significant or sexually explicit was discussed. In a pinned comment, Erck added further information about Phyllis.

Her efforts to aid Smith in his sexual conquest of an underage child were documented and passed on to the police, who wanted to arrest and prosecute Phyllis as badly as they wanted to with Smith. Unfortunately, the prosecution passed on pursuing a case against Phyllis, leading to her escaping free of charge.

Trivia

Safraz Khan and Yazan Asfour later showed up at the same time in the Flagler Beach, Florida sting, while Jeremy Keister and Michael Murray showed up at the same time during the Ocean County, New Jersey sting. Phyllis' accent suggests that she is from Georgia, although this is unconfirmed.
