Miguel Molina-Vazquez

Miguel Molina-Vazquez grew up in Birmingham, Alabama after migrating from Mexico. He has lived in Alabama since he was about two or three years old.

Vazquez arrived to the sting house and met the decoy just outside of the door. Upon entering the house, he appeared nervous and stated, "I'm just making sure it's safe in here." He did not bring her a grape Fanta. As the decoy was walking off, Vazquez asked if she lived alone. When Chris Hansen came out, Vazquez sprinted toward the door but was apprehended by deputies. While being handcuffed on the floor, Vazquez shouted, "I knew it! No! No! Please, please, no! Let me go! Please! I got too much to lose. Come on!"

During the interview with Chris, Vazquez admitted that he had used the website, wherein he found the decoy, to find women with whom to have sex with before, but had never previously met with a minor. Vazquez admitted to knowing the decoy's age and admitted to knowing that it was illegal. Despite being "broke," Vazquez told Chris that he was willing to pay the decoy $80 to have sex with him. When asked if it was his intention to have unprotected sex with a fifteen-year-old girl, Vazquez replied, "Yes." His reasoning for wanting to do that was because he was "sexually frustrated." Due to his immigration status, Vazquez feared deportation. Chris called him selfish for not bringing the decoy a grape Fanta. Vazquez was self-deprecating in the interview, saying things like, "I don't belong here. Chris asked if any child pornography would be found on his phone, to which Vazquez said that there would not be.
