Biography
Mark Barrett was born in August of 1985.
However, as of July 2024 the building that 2nd Chance Bail Bonds operates out of looked boarded up and not in use. Mark also owns Ace Investigations, an affiliate of 2nd Chance Bail Bonds that was started in 2017, and is "a licensed state investigator with several years of experience." This is likely the experience Mark was talking about when he claimed to be a private investigator during the sting.
He was also, at least at one point, taking suboxone, a drug used to treat opioid addiction and lessen the negative effects of withdrawal. He expressed discontent towards to Suboxone, noting that it made him feel unhealthy but that he also did not want to feel sick from not taking it.
Aftermath
Mark Barrett was charged with "Traveling to Meet a Child to Perform a Sexual Act" on January 2024 and was held on a $60,000 bond.
While out on bond from the previous sting, Mark Barrett was arrested again on March 25, 2025 for “Solicitation to commit prostitution with a minor” and is currently being held in Blount County jail.

Barrett is a fan of the mobile game Rise of Kingdoms. Barret struggles with a suboxone addiction. In January of 2022, he claimed that he "astral projected." Barrett is a conservative.
