Biography
He was a technician for laboratory testing parts as part of the automotive industry. Loyer also had a fiancé at the time of the sting, as well as a child, but it is unknown if they are still together.

Child Sexually Abusive Activity Using a Computer to Commit a Crime Accosting a Child for Immoral Purposes
In a follow-up episode, Chris Hansen said that Loyer pleaded guilty to Using a Computer to Commit a Crime. Due to his age as a youthful offender, he was able to avoid jail time and receive probation only. Should he compete his probation successfully, he will be able to have his record expunged.
According to one source, Loyer had met with five to ten people already that month. Sheriff Swanson said he did not know the ages of the individuals involved but described them as vulnerable.
