Case narrative

Biography

37-year-old Kevin Carroll struck up a conversation with a Perverted Justice decoy who was impersonating a thirteen-year-old boy. Carroll acknowledges that he fears the decoy is a police officer or a reporter since he has seen Dateline NBC shows where adult men were arrested for seeking to meet minors for sex.

Aftermath

After his acquittal, Kevin continued to live in Lewisville, Texas. In March 2021, Kevin was arrested and charged with multiple charges for possessing and distributing drugs.
