Aftermath
When police searched Forton's car, they found marijuana, condoms, rope, duct tape, and other items. The police dubbed him the scariest predator in the investigation. Forton later pleaded guilty to felony using the internet to solicit/attempt solicit a child for sex/lewdness. He was sentenced to 9 months in jail, three years of probation, and registration as a sex offender for life. He was released in 2007 and his probation ended in 2010.
