Reviewed sting-related legal outcome. Keep registration exactly as described; do not silently relabel the three years as probation even if that seems more typical. Saved arrest paperwork is not the judgment. General reported guilty plea does not identify which original charge survived; individual dispositions remain unknown.
Case narrative
Aftermath
Falcon was charged with Obscene Communication/Using a Computer to Solicit a Minor for Sex and Attempted Lewd and Lascivious Battery of a victim 12-15 years of age. He left on bail the day after he was arrested. Falcon eventually pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to nine months in prison and three years of registration as a sex offender. He was released on July 11, 2007.
For some reason, Falcon is still registered as a sex offender in Florida, meaning his time was either extended to life, his petition to be taken off after three years was denied, or he has not even attempted to petition.
Trivia
According to David Schumacher during a podcast interview with Joey and other members of the TCaP community, while he was detained at the police station, the man in the cell next to Schumacher acted as though he didn't speak English and ignored him when he attempted to communicate with him. Falcon stopped communicating with a fifteen-year-old decoy but continued to communicate with the twelve-year-old one he wound up going to meet at the sting house. Falcon is not the first predator to be hard of hearing; he was pre-dated two stings by Mitchell Heylek , although Heylek was unaired and never met Chris Hansen.
