Biography
He said that he found another man in his bed after being released. He still wore his wedding ring by the time of the sting.
He also had a lengthly criminal history, consisting of: First Degree Theft (of a vehicle), Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Appear, various traffic tickets, and Escape. Creamer claimed that the theft charge was due to buying a stolen vehicle. The escape charge is what sent him to prison.
Sting
Creamer arrived to the sting house wearing stained and dirty blue jeans and a T-shirt, which Chris Hansen described as his "fancy, go-to-court clothes." Creamer told Chris that the reason he went to court earlier that day was for several traffic tickets. After being asked if he had any weapons, Creamer pulled out a pocket knife but assured Chris that he did not have any guns. Creamer admitted that he did not bring any money to pay the decoy. When asked why, he stated that he did not bring money because he did not believe the situation.
Creamer maintained that he did not believe that the girl was a minor. He also maintained that he did not agree to pay for sex. When Chris asked why he would show up if he thought it was a sting, Creamer began to explain before trailing off, eventually stopping mid-sentence without explaining anything. Creamer claimed that he only had a history of tickets and an escape charge, which was not true. He later mentioned some of the other charges.
Chris asked if Creamer found the picture of the decoy attractive. Creamer stated, "she definitely don't look like she's fifteen." Creamer then went through his phone to find the picture of the decoy and flicked the phone around to show Chris in an effort to prove his point. Chris asked what Creamer was planning to do if he did not plan to have sex with the decoy. Creamer shrugged and told Chris that he needed friends. After being arrested, Creamer stated, "I don't even want friends now at all."
Creamer responded, "Yes sir. He claimed to have not had sex since the accident. However, Creamer stated that he no longer owned any firearms.
