He pled guilty to a felony charge of attempted lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age. He was sentenced to three years of probation, lifetime registration as a sex offender, and 60 days of Caltrans cleanup.

2024 update

Hansen did an episode on Cisneros for his Predators I've Caught podcast. While Cisteros does still appear on the Megan's Law California sex offender registry, Hansen claimed that, despite his team's best efforts, he didn't know anything about what Cisneros was up to, with no trace of his current occupation or any criminal incidents after the sting. Hansen acknowledged that, despite Cisneros being one of the more desperate and dangerous predators, he may very well have gotten help and turned his life around for the better.

Trivia

At 6"4', Cisneros is one of few predators who is notably taller than Hansen (who is 6"2'), with the hidden camera angle making it look as though Cisneros towered over Hansen despite there only being a two inch difference.
