Case narrative
Sting
When Klisli arrived at the sting house, he was taken into custody immediately after getting out of his car, instead of the typical scenario where the alleged predator walks into the house. Deputies took him to the ground in the middle of the road while Klisli repeatedly asked what was happening. Detectives called the number they had for Klisli, to verify that the person they were talking to was the man that showed up, and it appeared that Klisli had the decoy's name saved as "14," according to court records. During the police interview, he requested a lawyer and no further questions were asked.
During the Chris Hansen interview, Klisli claimed that he did not know that the decoy was underage, instead claiming that he thought she was nineteen, despite the fact that he had her named saved in his phone as "14." After further questioning, Klisli admitted that he did know that the decoy said she was fourteen, but claimed that he thought she was a liar. His basis for this claim was that she did not look fourteen in the picture. Klisli denied having any intention to have sex with a fourteen-year-old girl. He stated that his only intention was to drive her around the neighborhood. The interview consisted primarily of Klisli saying that he did not believe the decoy was fourteen and Chris not believing his story.
At the conclusion of the interview, Klisli begged Chris to help him with his newfound legal troubles and to not release the episode of Takedown. Klisli did not understand why what he did was illegal, requiring Chris to explain it multiple times and a deputy to explain it also.
Aftermath

Klisli was given a bond of $26,000. He paid a bondsman $7500 and was released. About a month after his release, in November, 2023, Klisli violated his bond conditions and was turned over to the custody of the jail. He was released once more and motioned the court to allow him access to many different apps on his phone so that he could work as a cargo hauler, a job which he obtained after his arrest. One app he requested access to was WhatsApp, which he coincidentally used while communicating with the decoy. The court granted the motion, but only insofar as allowing him to have a Bank of America app, not the various others he requested.
He was found guilty of all charges on July 30, 2025. According to court documents, Klisli worked at a fast food restaurant following his arrest. He also worked for a cargo hauling company.
Klisi was sentenced to five years in state prison, after which he will be placed on supervised release. He must also register as a sex offender.
He is serving his sentence at the Graceville Correctional Facility in Jackson County, Florida, with an anticipated release date of May 7th, 2030.
