Everardo Aleantra

Aleantra was born in Mexico. Although not a United States citizen, Aleantra claimed to be in the process of "fixing" his status by way of marrying a citizen. It is unclear whether Aleantra had any legal status at the time.

Aleantra drove almost an hour and a half from Birmingham to the sting house in his Shelby GT. He was greeted by the decoys at the door and gave a hug to the decoy posing as the minor girl. To the aunt, he gave a disinterested side-hug. Aleantra told the decoys that he actually only wanted a friend or girlfriend with whom he could go to dinner, and that he was not interested in sex, but would have sex if the decoy wanted. The decoys asked if Aleantra brought money to pay them for sex, to which Aleantra asked to confirm the price and paid them $100 for sex with only the niece.

After being paid, the decoys excused themselves and Chris walked in to confront Aleantra. Aleantra told Chris that he came to the sting house because he was "looking for somebody to love [him]." Despite initially claiming that he was single, then that he was married, Aleantra said that he was looking for someone to get engaged to and marry. Chris questioned why Aleantra would be looking for someone to marry if he was already married, to which Aleantra stated that he wasn't really married because "we don't love." Aleantra claimed that he was only married so that he could become a United States citizen by marrying a citizen.

He also claimed that he lived alone and was feeling sad, prompting him to look for sex online. His reason for being sad was thinking about how his ex-wife left him for his best friend. Aleantra claimed that he had no intention of having sex with the minor girl, only that he wanted to go on a dinner date with her. Aleantra cried as his car was seized by deputies.

As of May, 2025, Aleantra is still being held at the Blount County jail pending his charges. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has also placed a detainer on Aleantra for deportation.
