Biography
Ellahzar Henson was twenty-four and about to turn twenty-five. He lived in St. Henson formerly served in the Navy two years prior.
Sting
Henson travelled by car for two hours to the Fort Myers sting house. He entered the building house with alcohol and marijuana. He saw Dateline NBC's crew upstairs and said, "Hi," and the decoy then said, "Did you bring the pot?" Henson bolted out of the sting house while saying, "No," meaning Chris Hansen never got a chance to interview him. Fort Myers tackled him as soon as he left and he was swiftly took into custody.
2023 update
According to Hansen in a Predators I've Caught podcast, in 2023, Henson pleaded guilty to lesser charges regarding the sting and received a reduced sentence. Hansen then explained that Henson was arrested again for failing to register as a sex offender. Hansen could not find a number associated with Henson and could not reach out. Given his registration conviction, it's possible Henson is currently incarcerated.
