Dylan Abramson

Dylan was greeted by the decoy at the front door. The two made conversation for a moment, with Dylan acknowledging that she had a bong and that he would be willing to share some of the mariujana in his car with the decoy. When the decoy went upstairs using the phone charger excuse, Dylan attempted to follow her, only for Chris Hansen to come out and stop him. Dylan, frustrated, threw his hat on the ground in anger before trying to use it to hide his face from the cameramen. He once again tried to leave after telling Hansen he didn't want to talk about it, resulting in the police coming out and handcuffing him. Dylan began to cry and begged the officers not to arrest him, claiming he was on his way to get a college degree and that being arrested would ruin his life. The police tried to calm him down and told him he was safe. He finally calmed down and the deputies placed him on the couch.

Dylan continued to sob as Chris questioned him. He admitted to being "curious" about whether or not anything would happen. He admitted his real age and that he was almost twenty-two. He revealed what he studied at university and that he was only two years away from graduating. He asked if he could get up and move around but was refused. Hansen tried to ask Dylan why, with such a promising future at a young age, would he do such a thing as solicit a minor for sex. Dylan tried to use the excuse that since the decoy needed to sign up to the website with her social security number and I.D. then she must have been lying when she said she was 15. He then went on to say that the decoy looked older as soon as he saw her at the door and that's why he felt comfortable walking into the house. Hansen refuted Dylan's excuses by pointing out a whole part of the conversation was dedicated to Dylan being worried about getting caught attempting to have sex with a minor. He claimed this was before he realised about the I.D. and social security number, but Hansen once again dismissed this as nonsense. Dylan attempted to move around but Hansen told him to sit down for security reasons. Hansen then questioned how someone as smart as Dylan could fall for such a trap, with Dylan once again explaining that the physical decoy's photographs on the ad looked nineteen.

Dylan revealed he was going home while coming back from seeing friends in Ann Arbor. He told Hansen that he lived with his parents and tried to pull the "consent to be filmed" card. Hansen explained that Dylan had no right to request whether or not he was filmed because he was in the commission of a felony. Hansen then became much louder and more aggressive with Dylan, driving home the fact that he was the one meeting a child for sex. Sure enough, Dylan revealed he knew who Hansen was. Hansen brought up the mariujana Dylan admitted to having. Having had enough, Dylan asked the police if he was allowed to leave the interview. Before he did, Dylan expressed concern about his friends and family finding out when Hansen revealed that it would indeed be on Takedown . Dylan declared that it would ruin his life, but Hansen reminded him that Dylan had ruined his own life. Before Dylan could finish saying what he had to say to the viewers, another suspect arrived and he was rushed into the basement.

Dylan was charged with four felonies: Child Sexually Abusive Activity (a twenty-year felony), Using a Computer to Commit a Crime (another twenty-year felony), Accosting a Child for Immoral Purposes (a four-year felony), and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime (a seven-year felony).

While the majority of his court details are unknown, it is known he was convicted of one felony, Accosting a Child for Immoral Purposes. He is currently on probation until June 6, 2029 and registered as a sex offender on the Michigan State Registry.
