Biography
Donald Leroy Morrison Jr. was born on August 11, 1957. He also served as the Butler football midget games' announcer. The charge was later reduced to a class A misdemeanor charge of unlawful use of a criminal instrument. Donald entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to one year in jail with 267 days for time served, pay a $197 fine, and was not required to register as a sex offender.
Aftermath
He was handcuffed to the stretcher and transferred to the hospital. After receiving care, he was returned to the jail. Donald then showed up in court. Donald requested permission from the judge to ask a question. When the judge declined, Donald merely answered, "Okay."
Donald was the first predator to be convicted in the Fort Myers, Florida sting. He was charged and convicted of Using the Internet to solicit/attempt to solicit a child for sex/lewdness. He was sentenced to nine months in jail, three years of probation, lifetime registration as a sex offender, and pay Florida just under a thousand dollars in fines and restitution.
Donald had talked about his troubled past on his YouTube channel. He referred to two other YouTube users as his "sex slaves", and said he couldn't control his actions and told people not to judge and harass him on his channel about it (although the channel may actually belong to a fan who was pretending to be Morrison). Donald explained to a deputy that he was trying to assist a woman in prison by sending her pictures of her nine-month-old child. A county ordinance stated that as a registered sex offender, Donald was prohibited from going to areas like libraries, parks, or public swimming pools. Donald was taken into custody and held without bond at the local jail. He was eventually convicted of violating Lee County's "Child Safety Zone" ordinance and was sentenced to 40 days in the Lee County Jail, with credit for 6 days served.
Donald being interviewed by WINK in September 2021.
Donald was included in a WINK interview in September 2021 where he discussed the effects of a recent storm on the Fort Myers mobile home park where he lived. Donald mentioned that he has experienced several hurricanes in Florida and that the damage to his property wasn't as severe as it had been in past cases. He claimed that as the storm passed by, it sounded like a tornado and was moving very quickly.
Death
Donald died on October 13, 2022, at the age of 65 in Fort Myers from unknown causes.
Trivia
In Season 11 Episode 08 of South Park , the episode has a segment based on To Catch a Predator, where multiple predators kill themselves upon meeting Chris Hansen . One of the predators in the episode shares a striking resemblance to Donald. Donald was at one point prank called by a thirty-two-year-old female TCaP fan who provoked him with extremely sexual things that he seemed interested in. Donald seemed completely unaware of the fact that he was being pranked, mainly because the fan claimed they had met a month earlier at dialysis.
