Case narrative

Biography

He began conversing with a decoy named "Natalie," whom he assumed to be fifteen-years-old. He claimed to be 27 years old, which was a lie. After talking to the girl for a few days, Cannon inquired about her dating history and whether she was a virgin. He advised the decoy to keep her virginity and wait to have sex once she gets married. The following day, he requested a meeting with her and referred to her as his "lil boo." He then went on to inquire as to whether she ever got horny and made a pledge to supply condoms to their meeting. Cannon said "good" when the dummy responded "I don't think so." Later, he asked if she preferred to be at the top or bottom. When the asked which position was better, Cannon answered with "we'll have to see where you fit best."

He voiced concern about being set up and feared that he could spend a lot of time in jail. The decoy was pressured by Cannon several times to call him and reassure him that she was not a cop and that she would not set him up. Eventually, Cannon asks if she can give him oral sex. After that, Cannon started by asking her whether she could "ride" him and how "tight" her genitalia were. The next day, Cannon asked if she had ever shaved her genitalia and that he would like to rub it. Cannon announced his intention to photograph the girl's buttocks with the camera he planned to bring. He didn't return to the website and announce his arrival when he requested a last call. Perverted Justice assumed Cannon would not show because he did not sign off.

Confrontation

Despite his jovial demeanor, he seemed hesitant to enter the house, saying he would wait for her to do her laundry even though she invited him in to try the sweet tea she made. Eventually becoming convinced, he indicated that he needed to turn off his is car before coming inside the house.

Cannon went inside the home and was told by the decoy from behind the curtain to take a seat. He moved closer to the curtain and asked if he could use the restroom. After Chris Hansen came out and told Cannon to take a seat, Cannon was momentarily surprised before claiming he knew what was going on and "just wanted to test it." He said, "Thanks," as Chris failed to convince him to stay, Cannon still claiming he knew what it was. He rushed out of the house but the cops caught him before he could get away. Cannon claimed he knew what it was, that he wasn't doing anything and had only come over to use the restroom when he was put on the ground and handcuffed.
