Sting

Carl was apprehended at a Home Depot parking lot in Ocola, Florida . Cops quickly took him down without problem, while Carl kept calling the police officers "Absolute Assholes", telling them that he didn't deserve this, and then congratulating them on capturing him, telling them "Nice Job" . Carl is taken away to an interrogation room (without his shoes), awaiting a talk with Chris Hansen .

Chris Hansen enters the interrogation room, at first Carl is apprehensive to talk because of the cameras. Carl goes along with a fabricated story that he was just looking for an activity to do, but not with a minor, claiming that the girl was 67 years old. Obviously caught in a lie, because he was actually talking to the girls father not the underaged girl. He then claims that he was just going to Home Depot to get some tools for a project, and not to meet with a minor. He admits to withdrawing $200 dollars from the ATM to pay the step-father or "pimp" as he refers to him as.

Although not shown on Takedown with Chris Hansen , Detectives from the Marion County Sherriff's Office found "Teen Pornography" oriented pornography searches on his phone, along with escort site, "Skip The Games".
