They all lived in a very expensive metropolitan suburb in the Chicago, Illinois area.

Brian Arflack drove about four and a half hours to Vandalia near Dayton to meet who he thought was the fourteen-year-old girl for sex. He was then greeted by a sheriff's deputy posing as the fourteen-year-old girl leading him into the house.

Thinking he would have his fantasy, instead he met Chris Hansen.

Chris then asks him about the other two times he had sex with underage girls. Brian admits one of whom he had sex with at her parent's house and the other at a hotel, but lies about their age to Chris about the girl's age being an adult, though he doesn't buy it and Arflack admits they were fifteen. Chris then calls Arflack a serial predator, and he agrees.

When Chris asked Arflack how he would feel about guys coming to have sex with his children, Arflack said he would not like it, but later changed his story that he would not care because he met the underage girls when grilled by Chris about Arflack's previous point. Chris then interrogated Brian about the "coded" language [(2(14)+(2)(15)]. Arflack explained it was about the number of times he had sex with an underage girl (two fourteen-year-olds and two fifteen-year-olds).

Chris then concluded the interview, and the police began bringing him away. Before he was taken to the Montgomery County Jail, a deputy noticed that Arflack wore a friendship necklace. The deputy removed it after Arflack told him it was a gift from one of the underage girls with whom he said he had sex. “You’re not gonna get to keep that.” the deputy told Arflack. Chris asks Arflack what he would do with a real underage girl to which says he does not know, knows it is wrong, and that minors cannot make sound judgements.

In Ohio, "importuning" involves soliciting sex from a person underage. Arflack ultimately plead guilty under a plea deal and received twelve months in prison. He is currently registered as a sex offender in Ohio.
